Columbia House, the storied mail-order club that offered 12 CDs for a penny and transformed the way Americans listened to music, announced it will be shutting down after 71 years. The company has announced that as of Sep. 16, it will no longer accept new orders. NBC’s Joe Fryer reports for TODAY.
