Cristiano Ronaldo’s fiancée, Georgina Rodríguez, clapped back at body-shamers in the best way.
“My body will change, just as every woman’s body does. And I hope it continues to do so for many years, because that will mean I am still alive,” Rodríguez, 32, wrote in Spanish alongside a number of bikini pics via Instagram on Tuesday, August 4.
She spoke out after seeing cruel remarks made about her body while enjoying a fun-filled day on a boat.
The mom of six went on to say that her three daughters will “grow up” to be “great women,” noting she and Ronaldo, 41, will teach them “that a person’s worth can never depend on their physical appearance or the opinions of strangers.”
“That small dose of positive psychology I try to share with them every day also helps me stay grounded in this world of so much fantasy,” Rodríguez explained in her powerful message about self-love. “Lately, I’ve seen all kinds of comments about some photos of me on a boat. Some people comment on my body, while others defend me.”
She admitted the negative comments worried her as a model, but Ronaldo reassured her with words of support, saying, “You don’t live off your image. You live off who you are. A perfect woman. Beautiful, with a killer body, a mother, a good person, successful, and someone who lives life with love. What more could you want? It’s natural for people to envy you.”
“Sometimes we all need someone to remind us of what truly matters,” Rodríguez wrote. “The funny thing is, this happens every summer. Every year, my body makes headlines again. And I ask myself… where is the standard? Who decides what the ‘right’ body is? Do we really still think happiness comes in a specific size? I work out because it makes me happy. … It has never been a struggle to lose weight; it has always been a way of taking care of myself. I love my curves.”

She also gushed about loving the “freedom” she feels in her body. “In the body that sustains me — that has allowed me to embrace others, create life, fall down, and get back up again. A body that deserves respect, love, and gratitude in every version of itself.”
Rodríguez and Ronaldo met in 2016 and started dating. In 2017, she gave birth to her first child, Alana, 8. The duo expanded their family again in 2022, when she gave birth to Bella, 4, and her twin, who died at birth, Ángel. Ronaldo is also the dad of Cristiano Jr, 16, born in 2010, and twins Eva and Mateo, 9, whom he welcomed via surrogate in 2017. (Ronaldo has never publicly disclosed the identity of Cristiano Jr.’s biological mother.)
In August 2025, the soccer pro got down on one knee and proposed to Rodríguez with a massive oval-cut ring.
