Longtime besties Sarah Paulson and Pedro Pascal will star in the Broadway revival of Edward Albeeās “The Goat, or Who is Sylvia?” in January 2027. The play will be directed by three-time Tony-winning and Pulitzer Prize-winning writer and director James Lapine (his alma mater Franklin and Marshall College first reported the news).
Pedro made his Broadway debut as Edmund in a 2019 production of King Lear that starred Tony winners Glenda Jackson, Jayne Houdyshell, and Michael Arden, and Tony nominees John Douglas Thompson and Ruth Wilson. This will be Sarah’s fifth Broadway appearance. She won a Tony in 2024 for her role in Appropriate.
The original 2002 Broadway production of “The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia?” starred Bill Pullmand and Mercedes Ruehl. The show won the Tony for best play.
