Skydance acquires Paramount, deal includes 60min reporting to Trump

-The FCC has officially allowed the $8 billion-plus transaction for Skydance/Paramount to merge.

-Chairman Brendan Carr declaring “Americans no longer trust the legacy national news media to report fully, accurately, and fairly,” said Carr in a statement. “That is why I welcome Skydance’s commitment to make significant changes at the once storied CBS broadcast network.”

-Part of the merger, and settlement Paramount had with the Trump admin is that now 60 minutes will now have a “bias monitor that reports directly to Trump”
