– The couple released a statement through People saying that they had been separated for some time and it has turned out to be the right decision for them, but that “We’ve got each other forever—and it’s GOOD.”
– Seyfried also posted a pick of him with a gecko on her instagram story today, calling him a #reptiledad, as well as a quote saying “There’s really not a difficult thing unless you decide it’s a difficult thing. Otherwise, it’s just the next thing you’re figuring out.”
– The couple met in 2015 while working on the off-Broadway play The Way We Get By, and got married two years later shortly before the birth of their first child, Nina. They had a second child, Thomas, in 2020. Speculation about their separation picked up after Seyfried appeared at TIFF without her ring.
