Austin Nichols is teasing the upcoming One Tree Hill reboot!
Back in August 2024, it was revealed that Sophia Bush and Hilarie Burton are working with Netflix on developing a reboot of the fan-favorite teen drama series, which ran from 2003 to 2012.

While attending the premiere of his new movie I Know What You Did Last Summer on Monday (July 14), Austin said that he would “love” to return for the reboot and teased a new update.

We had a lot of fun. And ultimately, when something still has this kind of excitement around it this many years later, you kinda go, ‘Oh my god! Yeah, why not make more of it? People still watch it and love it.’”
He continued, “So, I think it could be great. I know that they’re writing scripts, and there’s been some notes and some back and forth. It sounds good. Hopefully we have some good news soon.”
If you missed it, Chad Michael Murray, who played Lucas Scott on One Tree Hill, explained why he won’t return for the reboot.
