Steve Burton is being accused of harassing his ex-wife Sheree Gustin.
The 54-year-old General Hospital actor’s ex has made the accusation that he has messaged her too much over custody of their youngest child, Brooklyn, who is a minor.
This comes after Steve has also accused Sheree of making it hard for him to have visitation with their daughter, even though they have shared custody.

“In the past few months, [Steve] has started to message me and accuse me of parental alienation if he cannot get ahold of Brooklyn,” Sheree alleges in new documents obtained by In Touch. “His messages are almost daily and are harassing.”
In response to Sheree‘s filing, Steve‘s lawyer Sarah C Clark told Us Weekly, “Steve maintains that Sheree’s allegations are categorically false. He has, and will continue to, act in the best interests of the parties’ daughter, Brooklyn, which includes ensuring there is frequent and continuing contact with both parents.”
“On May 12, 2025, the Court heard the evidence loud and clear and granted Steve additional custodial time with Brooklyn that Sheree was unwilling to provide,” the lawyer’s statement continued.
Previously, Steve filed a claim alleging Sheree was making it difficult for him to see their daughter, and took issue with his relationship with his new wife, Michelle Lundstrom, whom he married earlier this month.
“Sheree has seemingly forgotten how our family ended up in this situation. It was Sheree who had an extramarital affair, became pregnant with another man’s child and immediately moved him into her home after our separation, without informing me she would be doing so,” he said, via In Touch.
“Early on in my relationship with Michelle, Sheree began to refuse to call Michelle by her name and instead referred to her as ‘the girl’ in an effort to downplay her role in my life,” Steve continued. “In one text message exchange, Sheree stated, in part, as follows, ‘Michelle is not your family or our kids’ family lol. She is your girlfriend.”
“Sheree made it clear to me that she did not want Brooklyn to spend time with me if Michelle or her daughters were present,” he said. “When Michelle and her daughters were in town Sheree would make it difficult for me to exercise custodial time with Brooklyn when I was in California. All of my requests were met with resistance. Sheree would tell me my requested time did not work or they were busy, despite providing her with ample notice.”
Steve first filed for divorce in July 2022 after 20 years together, and just a few months after announcing they were separated and she was pregnant with another man’s child.
