The two reportedly met while seated next to each other on a flight from Boston to Florida in February 2021, TMZ reported in June 2021. The outlet obtained a photo of the pair smiling aboard the flight in a selfie taken by Jordon.
The site reported that the pair chatted over the then-college student’s studies, and he signed a copy of her textbook, Deductive Logic.
TMZ included a video of the textbook’s cover, opened to show Bill’s writing on the inside cover, along with the date, February 11, 2021.
“Thanks for giving me a course on logic! Safe travels,” Bill noted while signing his name.
Jordon Hudson Celebrated Her ‘Meetiversary’ With Bill Belichick
The Bridgewater State University graduate celebrated the date she met the former New England Patriots coach on February 11, 2025, which corroborated the date in TMZ‘s textbook photo.
“February 11th, 2025, from February 11th, 2021,” she began in the caption with an arrow to show how far they had come since meeting.
“Happy Meetiversary Bill Belichick — Cheers to the fact that you still let me give you lengthy philosophical lectures four years later,” the Maine native added, along with the hashtags, “Love Is Not Logical,” “Even Though It Kind of Is” and “Ironic.”
She included a photo showing her hand clasping Bill’s while he wore several of his eight Super Bowl rings. Jordon also shared the video turning the page of the textbook to show the same message and signature from Bill that TMZ published four years prior.
Jordon Hudson Got Testy When Asked About the Topic of How She Met Bill Belichick
Bill’s girlfriend got the final word about discussing how they met when the University of North Carolina Football coach sat down with Tony Dokoupil in an interview for CBS Sunday Mornings that aired on April 27, 2025.
“Jordon was a constant presence during our interview,” Tony noted in a voiceover, while showing her sitting just feet away off camera.
“You have Jordon over there. Everybody in the world seems to be following this relationship,” Tony said to Bill while asking how he dealt with people’s opinions about their 49-year age gap.
“I’ve never been too worried about what everybody else thinks. I just to do what I feel is best for me and what’s right,” he responded.
When Tony got around to asking how they met, Jordon was shown behind a monitor as she quickly spoke up to say, “We’re not talking about this.”
The journalist seemed somewhat taken aback, asking, “No?” she replied back with an emphatic “No!”
Tony noted in a voice over, “It’s a topic neither one of them is comfortable commenting on.”
He went on to broach the subject of Bill and Jordon’s relationship about how they’re sharing more about it on Instagram. Tony pointed out a photo where Bill dressed up as a fisherman while reeling in Jordon, who was dressed as a mermaid.
“So, I’m on some of those social media platforms but I honestly don’t follow them,” Bill explained.

While the couple was not photographed together for the first three years of their romance, it wasn’t until September 2024 when Jordon spoke up about the couple online.
“This is my formal petition for @BillBelichick to change his handle to @BillyGoat!! Welcome to the ‘Gram, Billy!!!!” she wrote when Bill finally joined Instagram.
Ever since, Jordon has been open about sharing their love.
“Wishing the happiest of birthdays to my twin flame,” the former beauty queen gushed in an April 16, 2025, Instagram birthday tribute to her boyfriend.
