The shortlists for the 2025 Academy Awards have been announced, with Wicked and Emilia Pérez racking up the most potential nominations.
Each branch will vote in their respective categories from January 8th through the 12th, and the top five from each category will then be the Oscar nominees voted on by the entire Academy. The nominees will be announced on Friday, January 17th.
