The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On is returning to Netflix for season 3 and new couples will withstand the test of time. This season, the cast switched up the filming location where their relationships will rise, crumble or enter a new romance.

Cameras pick up and film the third season of the reality TV experiment in Scottsdale, Arizona. That said, not all of the couples are from the area.
How Many Couples Will Be Featured on ‘The Ultimatum’ Season 3?
Viewers will watch six couples partake in the on camera experiment, all of whom are on the “verge of marriage or a breakup.”
“One person, who’s locked in and ready to get hitched, issues an ultimatum to their partner who has doubts. Over the next eight weeks, these couples will part ways to enter ‘trial marriage’ with other people in the experiment,” the season description reads on the Netflix website. “In the end, the participants will have three choices: will they commit to the partner they entered the experiment with? Will they choose someone new? Or will they leave The Ultimatum single?”
This season, fans will meet Zaina and J.R., Nick and Sandy, Mariah and Caleb, Scotty and Aria, Chanel and Micah and Vanessa and Dave.
After more than two happy years together, Nick and Sandy hit a roadblock in their relationship due to their 10-year age gap.
“Nick says he’s ready to settle down. Sandy, however, is 10 years younger than Nick and doesn’t feel like she’s at that stage in her life yet,” the pair’s Netflix bio reads.
Meanwhile, Mariah is ready for boyfriend Caleb to put a ring on it.
“Mariah may be young, but she already knows what she wants out of her relationship with Caleb: a ring,” the couple’s bio reads of the 24-year-old.
“I want to experience as much of the love as I possibly can fit into my lifetime. I would love forever to start right now,” Mariah said in the trailer.
Love triangles form as J.R., the ultimatum receiver, builds his relationship with Zaina but quickly gets caught into temptation with Sandy, also an ultimatum receiver. In one teaser clip, Zaina is seen crying on the couch before the frame cuts to an intimate moment between J.R. and Sandy in bed.
On December 3, the official Instagram page for The Ultimatum shared a teaser of the couples’ first introduction together. Cautiously, the group learned more about one another during a dangerous game of “Never Have I Ever.”
Who Are ‘The Ultimatum’ Season 3 Hosts?
Nick and Vanessa Lachey are returning to the series as hosts.
“Nick and Vanessa know a thing or two about the situation that the couples are in — Vanessa had once issued an ultimatum to Nick after five years of dating,” the Netflix description reads.
When Does ‘The Ultimatum’ Season 3 Premiere?
Netflix subscribers can stream the first five episodes during the season premiere on Wednesday, December 4. The following three episodes will be released on December 11, 2024, and the final two episodes drop on December 18.
