Max Thieriot is back for another season of Fire Country and you might be curious to learn more about his life off screen.
The 37-year-old actor, who stars as Bode on the CBS series, has been married to Lexi Murphy since 2013. They also have two children together.
Their relationship goes back years before Fire Country premiered. In fact, they first met when they were just teenagers.
How did Max Thieriot and Lexi Murphy meet?
Max and Lexi were both 16 when they met during a family vacation in the Caribbean. They had each grown up in Northern California, but it took a trip overseas for them to cross paths.
In 2024, Max visited The Talk and talked about Lexi, saying, “I don’t know if she knew I was the one, but I knew she was the one.”
They celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary this year
When proposing, the actor returned to the place they met and they got engaged in 2012 before marrying in June 2013. They celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary earlier this year.
Max and Lexi have two kids
Max and Lexi are parents to two sons, Beaux, born in 2015, and Maximus, born in 2018.
In May 2026, Max shared a video from a family visit to Indianapolis Motor Speedway during Indy 500 weekend. The footage included their sons watching the action and Max even got behind the wheel!
