Alexander Skarsgard Shows Off His Feet in YSL Transparent Shoes at ‘Wicker’ Screening in London

Alexander Skarsgard is showing off unique style on the red carpet at the 2026 BFI London Film Festival!

The 50-year-old Emmy-winning actor stepped out for a special screening of his new movie Wicker on Thursday (October 8) held at BFI Southbank in London, England.

For the screening, Alexander went shirtless under a metallic gold suit while showing off his feet in the viral YSL Spring/Summer 2027 transparent shoes.

Joining Alexander at the screening were co-stars Olivia Colman, Peter Dinklage, and Elizabeth Debicki along with co-directors and co-writers Eleanor Wilson and Alex Huston Fischer.

What is Wicker about?

Here’s the official synopsis:

An audacious comedic fable about sex, marriage, and the absurdities of social convention, WICKER tells the wholly original love story of an ostracized fisherwoman (Colman) who commissions a husband to be made by the local basketmaker (Dinklage). When her wicker husband (Skarsgård) proves more spectacular than she ever imagined, his soulful spirit and unique prowess awaken something inside her, setting off a wave of jealousy, fascination, and upheaval that threatens the very fabric of village life.

Alexander talks wearing wicker prosthetics for the movie

In a statement to EW, Alexander poked some fun at wearing prosthetics made of wicker while filming the movie.

“Most male actors dream of playing Hamlet at some point in their career. I never did,” he joked. “My dream was always to have nipples made out of wicker. Thanks to our wonderful directors, Eleanor and Alex, and the brilliant artists at Weta in New Zealand, my dream has finally come true.”

In her own statement, Olivia called the movie “one of the best and most original scripts I’d read in a long time.”

“Alex is funny, intelligent, and beautiful anyway — in the wicker costume, he’s breathtaking,” she continued. “Everything is exaggerated; he’s a work of art. Alex fills the Wicker Husband with a beautiful soul.”
