Sarah Paulson has made some savage comments about one of her previous American Horror Story seasons!
The Emmy-winning actress starred in 9 of the first 10 seasons of American Horror Story. She’s back for season 13 and this will mark her first time returning to the franchise since 2021’s Double Feature.
In 13, Sarah is reprising five of her former roles. She will be back as:
- Mamie Eisenhower from Double Feature: Death Valley
- Cordelia Goode from Coven and Apocalypse
- Sally McKenna from Hotel
- Ms. Wilhemina Venable from Apocalypse
- Karen from Double Feature: Red Tide
In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight, Sarah was asked to rank all of her previous characters from favorite to least favorite.

- Cordelia (Coven)
- Tuberculosis Karen (Double Feature)
- Sally (Hotel)
- Bette and Dot (Freak Show)

- Shelby Miller / Audrey Tindall (Roanoke)
“My number one, all-time favorite character to play is Lana Winters,” she said. “Followed quickly by Cordelia, followed by Tuberculosis Karen, followed by Sally, followed by Bette and Dot.”
“Roanoke is at the end,” she added. “People get mad at me. I don’t care. Bite me! Bite me hard! I don’t give a s***. Sorry! I don’t like it! It’s not for me! I like a lot of things about it, but that one wasn’t for me. I don’t give a s*** about that season. Sorry!”
The three seasons that Sarah didn’t rank were Murder House, Cult, and Apocalypse.
