Saturday Night Live is gearing up for season 52 with the series’ full cast reveal.
Less than two weeks before the season 52 premiere, which is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, SNL announced who would be returning to the cast and who would be joining the series. Saidah Belo-Osagie and Grace Reiter were revealed as the two new additions to the cast.
Following the season 51 shakeup, most of the cast has stayed on for one more year. Fans of the variety show were already aware that Chloe Fineman would be leaving after seven seasons. Bowen Yang shockingly exited midway through season 51.

Michael Che: Returning
Che will continue to helm Weekend Update in his 13th season.
Mikey Day: Returning
Day is back for his 11th season.
Andrew Dismukes: Returning
Dismukes will appear in his seventh season.
Marcello Hernández: Returning
Fan favorite Hernández will continue to make fans laugh in his fifth season on the show.
James Austin Johnson: Returning
Johnson has scored another season to continue his impersonations of President Donald Trump and more.
Colin Jost: Returning
Jost will be back to coanchor Weekend Update alongside Che.
Ashley Padilla: Returning
Padilla was a breakout star in season 51 and she will continue to shine in her third season.
Sarah Sherman: Returning
Sherman is back for her sixth season.
Kenan Thompson: Returning
Thompson, who remains the longest tenured cast member in history, is back for his milestone 24th season.
Jane Wickline: Returning
Wickline will appear in her third season as a SNL cast member.
Tommy Brennan: Returning
After making his debut in season 51, Brennan is back for another season.
Jeremy Culhane: Returning
Culhane will earn even more laughs in his second season.
Ben Marshall: Returning
The Please Don’t Destroy member was promoted from writer to player in season 51 and he will continue to perform on stage this season.
Kam Patterson: Returning
Patterson is back for a second season after his debut last year.
Veronika Slowikowska: Returning
Slowikowska will appear on SNL for her second season.
Saidah Belo-Osagie: Joining
Belo-Osagie is joining the SNL cast for season 52. She previously worked on the Netflix miniseries When They See Us and the legal drama For Life, before transitioning to comedy. Belo-Osagie is best known for her clown show “Saidah Gets Closure” plus writing and directing the short film Tinge.
Grace Reiter: Joining
Reiter is making her SNL debut in season 52. The comedian is best known for her viral TikTok and YouTube videos. She also had a recurring role on Tim Robinson’s series The Chair Company.
Chloe Fineman: Out
Fineman announced in July that season 51 was her last.
“After 7 wonderful seasons at SNL I have decided it’s time for my next chapter,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “It’s cliche to say this but working at SNL has been the greatest privilege of my life. I still can’t really believe I got to be a part of it. I fell in love with the place the second I walked through the door.”
Martin Herlihy: Out
Herlihy, who is best known for being a member of the Please Don’t Destroy trio, worked as a writer on SNL for five seasons. Variety confirmed his departure from season 52 in September.
