-The Original Cast of Charlie’s Angels, Jaclyn Smith, Kate Jackson and Cheryl Ladd remember the late Farrah Fawcett at the 78th Emmy Awards.

-Jackson added that “Farrah was the shiniest angel of all. She was loved by millions of people all over the world, and she still is today,” she said. “They’ll never forget her, and neither will we. I’m sure you won’t either.”

-Ladd joked that Fawcett’s “iconic” 1976 red swimsuit poster “lives in the minds and the garages of many a man.”

-Drew Barrymore sits down with original ‘Charlie’s Angels’ stars Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson to talk about the iconic TV series, 50 years later.

-They answered questions from “Charlie,” one of which asked about a day on set that they’d like to relive.

“It would probably be a day from ‘Angels in Chains,’ from the prison show. We were chained together, and we stayed chained together the whole time through lunch every day, all the breaks, yeah, through when you had to go to the bathroom,” Jackson, 77, shared, to which Smith, 80, agreed. “That was such an important episode to us when we made the film that we recreated the look and we put it in the opening,” Barrymore noted. She added, “Because we thought that we wanted to honor that right out of the gate.”

    – Jaclyn Smith applauded Barrymore, Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz who revived the franchise for the big screen in the 2000s. “I love what you did because it linked generations. And you kept the heartbeat is what I loved, the heartbeat of the show,” Smith said.

-Drew explained, “I always thought of it as, for me, watching it in the ‘70s, Charlie’s Angels was not only the most important thing for us females; all the men loved it, and women wanted to be you.”
