Food reviewer Keith Lee was almost involved in a fatal car accident in Texas. A car was driving in the wrong lane, nearly striking Lee and his family’s car, but swerved into another car, killing a 29-year-old father of two. Lee made a TikTok giving his “testimony” that God saved him from the accident.
However, the video generated backlash, with viewers and commentators wondering why God would choose to kill a different, innocent person. It has prompted a wave of conversation on TikTok about why God would supposedly protect one person who believes in Christianity while sacrificing dozens of innocent people to other tragedies such as the mudslides in Nepal. Like…did God not care about the young dad who died?
Wednesday the 10th was the so-called Kirkiversary, or the anniversary of Charlie Kirk’s death. I guess the best thing I can say is that I’m glad his death didn’t prompt any more violence, and at least there were some funny memes. It also gave us that one AI Charlie Kirk song.

A gal named Valentina came online to complain about how no one in her life told her about how much they disliked her husband until after they divorced. Promptly, a whole bunch of other TikTok-ers were like…naaaah, girl, we don’t believe you. Probably everybody told you and you just wouldn’t hear it.
The topic of women propping up their musty boyfriends remains evergreen, unfortunately. If you recall, we had that article about how Gen Z women are financially supporting their scrub boyfriends. Then, we had a discussion about how women’s boyfriends who aren’t on their leases are ruining apartment complexes. This week, we have a woman who went viral for saying that other women are hateful if they order DoorDash with a female dasher, but a male dasher shows up instead, and they report the account. Fortunately, other women on TikTok are like, nah, if a man can’t pass a background check to get a DoorDash gig, they are not opening their doors to him.

Now that the book has actually been published, it’s not true. Lots of discourse on BookTok about this non-issue. -Mr. Beast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, co-wrote a book with James Patterson. It is called The Most Dangerous Games. It is getting horrible reviews and BookTok is savaging it.. It debuted at number three on The New York Times The New York bestseller list for hardcover fiction.
