Bad Bunny is officially an Emmy Award winner!!
The 32-year-old Puerto Rican entertainer, whose real name is Benito Martinez, picked up his first win on Saturday night (September 5) during the first night of the 2026 Creative Arts Emmy Awards held at Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.
While Benito was not in attendance at the ceremony, he still came out with a win for producing his Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show, and many of the artists who worked on the performance did attend and left winners!
What awards did Bad Bunny and his halftime show team win?
Bad Bunny won the award for Outstanding Variety Special (Live) for the halftime show, where he served as performer and a producer. Jay-Z is also now a two-time winner in this category as an executive producer on the halftime show.
The Super Bowl Halftime Show was up for nine awards total and picked up seven wins!
Also among the winners for the halftime show were choreographers Charm La’Donna and Karina Ortiz, pictured above, who took home Outstanding Choreography for Variety or Reality Programming.
Hamish Hamilton won the award for Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special, Miguel Gandelman won for Outstanding Music Direction, and the halftime show picked up the awards for Outstanding Lighting Design/Lighting Direction for a Special, Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Variety Series or Special, and Outstanding Technical Direction and Camerawork for a Special.
