Some fan-favorite Broadway actors are participating in an exciting concert series coming to New York City in October!
Broadway Does Punk will reimagine iconic showtunes into punk and rock anthems, turning TikTok star Matt Copley‘s viral video franchise into a live show. Video streams for the series online have passed 20 million and have caught the attention of stars like Darren Criss and Rachel Brosnahan.
Now, Broadway Does Punk will be playing Abrons Arts Center’s Playhouse Theater in New York City on October 2 and 3.

Samantha Pauly (SIX, The Great Gatsby), Constantine Maroulis (Rock of Ages, American Idol), TROY (EPIC: The Musical), Tamika Lawrence (The Heart of Rock and Roll, Caroline, or Change), Jasmine Forsberg (SIX, Here Lies Love), and Keaton Whittaker (Daisy Grenade, A Little Night Music) are all on the lineup.
“This started as something I made because I loved both musical theater and rock music, and it turned into something so much bigger than I ever expected,” Matt said in a statement. “Getting to bring Broadway Does Punk to a live stage, with a cast this incredible, is the realization of something fans have been asking for since the beginning. This is just the first step for where this project is headed.”
