Michael Fassbender sat down for an interview where he discussed his awful audition for the 2015 film Mad Max: Fury Road. He got lost and arrived an hour late. Director George Miller had an acting coach there who made him do a bunch of weird, theater-kid acting exercises.
Inspired to share her own experience, Kat Dennings made a TikTok discussing her own terrible audition. Hers lasted six hours, Tom Hardy ended up staying overnight at her house (no hanky panky happened) and she woke up to him having tea with her mom.
