Apple has released the first teaser for Being Heumann, from CODA director Siân Heder. Set in 1977, it centers on disability rights activist Judy Heumann (played by Ruth Madeley) as she leads more than 100 disabled people to take over the San Francisco Federal Building to protest for accessibility legislation. Mark Ruffalo, Dylan O’Brien, and Ray Fisher also star.
Being Heumann premieres next week at TIFF, before it releases in select theaters November 6. It will be available to stream on Apple TV on November 13.
