In 2021, Live Nation bought a majority stake in Veeps for an unknown sum.
The one who publicly dated a 16-year-old Hilary Duff when he was 25 is its CEO.
Veeps now has a monopoly on music journalism, with the company owning: Alternative Press, BrooklynVegan, Revolver, and Goldmine.
On August 12th, these classic publications were decimated by layoffs.
