A new report is explaining why Barron Trump has been living a “reclusive” life out of the public eye.

The 20-year-old son of President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump reportedly spent most of his summer living at Trump National Golf Club Bedminster in New Jersey with his mom, according to The Post.

“He doesn’t go out,” one source told the outlet with another adding, “The kid’s pretty reclusive.”

    So, what happened?

The new report claims that Barron‘s decision to stay out of the public eye is “an apparent response to the climate of growing political violence that includes a series of assassination attempts targeting his father, President Trump.”

Trump has survived multiple assassination attempts and Barron has reportedly been targeted in disturbing videos released in Iran, according to the report.

Barron was reportedly the one who broke the news of Charlie‘s assassination to his father.

In the book “Regime Change,” it was reported that Barron told his dad, “This is what happens when you go out there.”

In Melania‘s documentary, she addressed Barron‘s decision to not go outside for Trump‘s parade during his second inauguration in January 2025.

“I know Barron won’t go out. And I respect that,” she told Secret Service agents in a moment aired in the doc.

He did make a rare public appearance in June 2026 though.
