Nimrods is out in theaters now!
The Green Day-inspired comedy officially hit theaters on Friday, August 14, starring real-life couple Mason Thames and McKenna Grace.
What Is Nimrods About?
Here’s a synopsis:
“Nimrods is a coming-of-age story about three friends (Thames, Kylr Coffman, and Ryan Foust) who journey to Los Angeles, mistakenly believing that their band is opening for Green Day on New Year’s Eve. Their roadtrip is a rowdy and mischievous jaunt across the country filled with adventures, based on the exploits of Green Day and their years of living in a tour van.”
The movie also stars Ignacio Diaz- Silverio, Keen Ruffalo, McKenna Grace, Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey, Fred Armisen, Bobby Lee and Sean Gunn.
The film was written and directed by Jenna‘s real-life husband Lee Kirk!
