-Follow up to this post wherein Sony/Playstation announced they are ending physical game releases and switching to only digital by 2028….
-They are also deleting over 500 movies from their database after licensing deal with Studio Canal ends. Even if you have purchased said movies from their store, it will no longer be viewable.
-Some notable films include Apocalypse Now: The Final Cut, Bridget Jones’ Diary, Evil Dead 1 & 2 Highlander, Pan’s Labyrinth, Terminator 2: Judgement Day
-This is your daily reminder that no matter where you “purchase” digital movies, if you don’t retain the file, you don’t own it and are simply renting long term.
