Supergirl did not take flight at the box office this weekend, bringing in just $38 million domestic and $68 million globally in its opening weekend against a $175 million budget. Critics were unkind to the film, giving it a 56% on Rotten Tomatoes, while audiences gave it a B- Cinemascore.

Toy Story 5 remained a popular choice at theaters, holding the top spot with a $70 million domestic take. In two weekends of release, it has grossed $297 million domestically and $585 million worldwide, making it likely to eventually topple Toy Story 4‘s total gross of $1.07 billion.

In third place was Obsession, which is still drawing audiences in its seventh weekend of release with $9.8 million. In total, the indie breakout has made $233.9 million domestically and $370 million worldwide.

The fourth spot belonged to Jackass: Best and Last, which brought in $8.2 million domestic and $1.9 million overseas. This is down over 50% from the $23 million opening of the last installment in the series, but with a budget of only $10 million, it should not be hard for it to eventually make a profit.

Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day took the fifth spot with $8.1 million in its third weekend of release, bringing its total grosses to $94.3 million domestic and almost $200 million globally.

In limited releases, Olivia Wilde’s The Invite made $379,104 on seven screens in NYC and LA, giving it a per theater average of $54k. The film has been well reviewed, and will look for good word of mouth while expanding next weekend before going wide on July 10th.
