The Paper is coming back!
Peacock revealed that the show returns on September 9, along with providing first-look images for Season 2 on Thursday (June 25).

Season 2 stars Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Tim Key, Ramona Young, Eric Rahill, Duane Shepard Sr., Alex Edelman, and Oscar Nuñez.
The second season will premiere on Wednesday, September 9, with all episodes streaming at once.

Here’s the synopsis: “In season two, after sweeping the Ohio Journalism Awards, Ned searches for a journalistic crusade, coming for a local private club and jeopardizing the paper, while he and Mare try to figure out their attraction, Esmeralda struggles to find her place, and the staff gradually mature as reporters.”

The show centers around the documentary crew that immortalized Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch in The Office, who find a new subject when they discover a historic Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it.

“I will be watching but I will not be showing up. It’s just a new thing and there’s really no reason for my character to show up in something like that,” Steve told THR when the show first premiered. Find out more about the cast and who won’t return.
