-Lil nas X went Instagram to reveal that he’s been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, something he said he felt like he had “known” about for a few years but didn’t “want to admit.”
-I didn’t want to have to take medication and have people think different of me,” he explained.
-He continued, “I’m already Black and gay, like damn, God. Come on, Black, gay, and bipolar? I’m living life on extreme hard mode. On a serious note, I’m doing much better, I’m feeling better. I’m creating freely, and there’s less fear in my heart, and I’m smelling the roses.
– The 26 year old was arrested last August and charged with three counts of battery with injury towards and officer and one count of resisting arrest and was alleged to have charged at officers. He pleaded not guilty.In April he was sentenced to 2 years of probation amid a mental health program enrollment.
