Romeo Beckham will soon make his acting debut!
The 23-year-old model and son of David and Victoria Beckham will star in Forty Love, directed by fashion photographer Pierre-Ange Carlotti.
According to Variety, the film will be distributed by Studiocanal and marks Carlotti‘s directorial debut. It is produced by Hugo Sélignac and Paco de Bary at Chi-Fou-Mi Productions, a Mediawan company, and co-produced by Studiocanal and Manna Studios.
Romeo will star opposite of Paul Kircher, Guillaume Canet, and Benjamin Voisin. Catherine Deneuve also stars.
According to Variety, the story “revolves around Sacha Gallo, a tennis superstar who’s been training with his father to win a major trophy in Paris. But the arrival of a charismatic new rival — played by Beckham — challenges everything Sacha thought he understood about competition, ambition and himself. ‘For the first time, he faces an opponent of an entirely different nature — love,’ the synopsis reads. ‘A force as exhilarating as it is destabilizing — and far more dangerous than anything he has encountered on the court.’”
Earlier this year, Romeo made his Met Gala debut 12 years after his parents made their last appearance at the event. They haven’t returned since 2014. For the outing, Romeo wore a kink-inspired look. You can see the photos here.
