Guillermo Rodriguez is heading to the ballroom!
On Wednesday (June 17), Jimmy Kimmel announced that his late-night show sidekick is the latest star to join the cast of Dancing with the Stars for the upcoming 35th season.
If you didn’t know, Guillermo, 55, first began working as a parking lot security guard for the Kimmel studio back in 2003. After he was caught sleeping in announcer Dicky Barrett’s car, Jimmy invited Guillermo to appear on the show. He then started participating in skits on the show and started appearing more regularly on screen before becoming Jimmy‘s sidekick. In 2011, Guillermo took over main red-carpeting interviewing duties and famously does shots of tequila with stars as they arrive at the Oscars.

Guillermo is now the third contestant that has been announced for the new season of DWTS. These three stars have also confirmed that they will be competing for the Len Goodman mirrorball trophy.
The full cast, including the pros, will be announced on September 2 on Good Morning America. Dancing with the Stars season 35 premieres in Fall 2026 and will air on ABC, Hulu, and Disney+.
