In the City’s Danielle Olivera is setting the record straight on her relationship with Eoin Heavey after some costars had questions about the romance.
“I think seeing Kenny [Martin] sort of say, ‘Oh, sounds like there was some overlap,’ that’s someone in our own friend group saying that,” Danielle, 37, exclusively shared with Us Weekly on Tuesday, June 2. “I can only imagine what perfect strangers on the internet and watching the show are thinking that there’s overlap, that there was cheating going on, that I’m the other woman and I’m not that.”
After documenting her life on seasons 2 through 8 of Summer House, Danielle hopes viewers “know me enough by now” to know that’s not her style.
“I’d be pretty straight with you if that were the case, and I would explain myself or anything, but there’s no overlap,” she explained to Us. “Yes, he moved into a serious relationship after a serious relationship, but there’s nothing bad about it. There was no sneaking around.”
Although Danielle may be used to sharing her life with cameras, she initially kept her relationship with Eoin, 39, off of social media “just out of respect for his ex.”
“But I wanted to shout from the rooftops from the minute we knew that this was happening,” she added. “We fell in love very quickly.”

This season on Bravo’s In the City, several cast members have questioned whether Danielle and Eoin are moving too quickly. During one recent scene, Lindsay Hubbard expressed shock when she learned Eoin was separated — but still legally married to his wife — while dating Danielle.
“Their whirlwind romance is moving at lightning speed,” the network teased at the start of the season. “As skepticism from the group surrounds them, they’re quickly finding out if they can handle the mounting pressure.”
Despite any chatter from fans or costars, Danielle and Eoin appear to be stronger than ever after announcing in May that they are expecting their first baby.
“We always talked about being parents as we were dating, and he’s very close to his family. I’m very close with mine, and I think that we knew that this would be in our future,’ Danielle shared with Us. “He’s just been so supportive at every appointment and making sure that my needs are met and holding my hand through the whole thing. …. He’s been doing all the cooking, the cleaning, the heavy lifting, you name it. He’s been great.”
In the City airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 9 p.m. Stream new episodes the next day on Peacock.
