After a staff meeting yesterday where Scott Pelley criticized Barb Weiss and Nick Bilton for killing 60 Minutes and turning it into another MAGA media outlet, he has been fired.
Nick Bilton, the newly hired EP who has no experience in TV, wrote to him “Your antipathy to the future of the show has come through loud and clear. And I have heard you. Your employment with CBS is terminated for cause effective immediately.”
