There’s yet another update about Tom Hardy and his status on MobLand.
If you don’t know, earlier this month, it was reported that he had been fired and would not return for a potential third season of the Paramount+ hit. Season two has not yet debuted.
This week, a report emerged suggesting he had kept others waiting to film on set and had clashed with producers.
Now, a source has come forward with a new claim about what’s happening behind-the-scenes with Tom Hardy
“Tom was not fired, the door is not closed for Season 3 and things are being worked through creatively,” a source “close to production” shared withVariety.
What is MobLand about?
MobLand centers around two mob families who clash in a war that threatens to topple empires and lives.
The cast also includes Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Geoff Bel, Daniel Betts, Lisa Dwan, and Emily Barber.
When does season 2 premiere?
As of right now, Paramount+ has not announced a release date for the second season of MobLand, which has already completed production.
The series debuted in March 2025 and the first season was a huge hit with both fans and critics.
Back in November, Tom was seen walking around set of season two in his underwear.
