The music lineup has been revealed for The Great American State Fair as part of the upcoming Freedom 250 celebrations, marking the 250-year anniversary of the Declaration of Independence being signed.
One of the announced acts, Morris Day, is vehemently denying that he and The Time are performing at the upcoming event.
“It’s A No For Me,” he captioned a post on Instagram, along with the smile emoji wearing sunglasses.
His post featured text over a blue and purple background, reading, “Contrary To Rumor, Morris Day & The Time Will Not Be Performing At The ‘GREAT AMERICAN STATE FAIR’”
Other performers who were announced as part of the lineup include Martina McBride, Young MC, C+C Music Factory, Vanilla Ice, Milli Vanilli, The Commodores, Flo Rida, Bret Michaels “and many more.”
The event is set to be held from June 25th to July 10th on the National Mall in Washington, DC. You can register for free tickets HERE.

The cage for the upcoming UFC match at the anniversary celebration is currently being built on the White House Lawn in DC. The bout is set to take place on Sunday, June 14th, and will stream on Paramount+.
