We have a new update on the Mike Vrabel-Dianna Russini situation.

And like all of the previous updates, this one seems to indicate that the relationship between the two was much more than just a professional association.

New reports indicate that Vrabel and Russini rented a boat together in 2021, while she was pregnant with her first child.

That would be fine, of course, were it not for the fact that the New England Patriots head coach and the NFL journalist were both married to other people at the time, as they still are today.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, the couple rented the boat in Putnam County, Tennessee, and were the only people on board.

The outlet reports that Mike and Dianna were hesitant to take photos with the rental company staff.

She declined entirely, while he agreed to pose for some pics, but only if the staff agreed not to post them publicly.

Needless to say, it sounds as though Vrabel might have felt that he had something to hide.

And given that he’s been married to wife Jen Vrabel, who is also the mother to his two kids, since 1999, it’s not hard to see why he might have felt that way.

One week after the boat rental, Russini posted a photo of her husband and captioned the post, “Lucky to have great people to spend this holiday with this July.”

Back in early April, photos of Vrabel and Russini hugging and holding hands at an Arizona resort circulated online.

Both parties denied any wrongdoing. A few weeks later, however, images that allegedly showed Vrabel and Russini kissing in a club were published.

Much has been made of the fact that Russini’s eldest son is named Michael, and social media commenters have urged her husband to demand a paternity test.

Russini has since resigned from her position at the New York Times-owned sports media outlet The Athletic.

It does not appear as though Vrabel will face any professional consequences, but he did miss part of last month’s NFL Draft so that he could seek counseling.

We will have further updates on this developing story as new information becomes available.
