“As soon as I saw this, I knew that it would be a new authorship of a streaming experience,” he said about the Disney+ series The Mandalorian, via THR. “But I always had a dream in my heart that it would be on a big screen because that’s how I was developed as a child. I went to the movie theater so much with my family, and I saw the Star Wars movies on the big screen.”

He then said something in Spanish and became emotional, wiping away tears, which led to cheers from the crowd. Pedro started speaking in Spanish again before blowing a kiss to fans in the audience.

At the end of the panel, fans in attendance were treated to a screening of the upcoming movie’s opening footage.
