Reese Witherspoon is braving backlash and doubling down on urging women to learn how to use AI tools:

Did a check clear or something?
Reese Witherspoon and Sandra Bullock are both advocating for people to be more accepting of AI. And Kerry Washington showed her support for it as well.
Witherspoon is encouraging women to embrace AI and Bullock wants Hollywood to “lean into” it.
“Well…I’ve decided it’s TIME,” she wrote on Instagram. “The AI revolution has begun, and I need to learn as much as I possibly can about AI and share it with all of you. Also, FYI: the jobs women hold are 3x more likely to be automated by AI, yet women are using AI at a rate 25% lower than men on average. We don’t want to be left behind. So…do you want to learn with me?”
Actress Kerry Washington commented on Witherspoon’s post, writing, “THIS” in agreement.
While reacting to fans’ AI-generated trailers for Practical Magic 2, Sandra Bullock had this to say: “Well, there could be worse with my image. Sorry,” she joked at the CNBC Changemakers Summit. “But it’s here. We have to observe it. We have to understand it. We have to lean into it. We have to use it in a really constructive and creative way, make it our friend.”
Bullock added, “We have to be incredibly cautious and aware of it because there are people who will use it for evil and not good. I do feel that there’s a place for it.”
