Hulu is having a great month with its original TV shows and movies.
Malcolm and the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair came out of the gate as a streaming hit, which shouldn’t be too surprising considering the popularity of the original show.
That’s just the first pick for Watch With Us‘ three popular Hulu movies and TV shows to binge-watch this week.
Our remaining selections include an action thriller that went under the radar last year, as well as a haunting new true crime documentary.
‘Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair’ (2026)
The ending of Malcolm in the Middle implied that Malcolm (Frankie Muniz) might be President of the United States someday. That hasn’t happened yet in Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair, but Malcolm’s happy. He’s running his own charity, he has a daughter, Leah (Keeley Karsten), whom he adores, and he even has a new girlfriend, Tristan (Kiana Madeira), who might be with him for the long haul.
Malcolm has also successfully kept all of this from his family for the better part of 20 years. When his parents, Hal (Bryan Cranston) and Lois (Jane Kaczmarek), finally confront Malcolm for shutting them out of his personal life, his secrets come flying out. He wanted to stay away from his family for as long as possible, but it’s time to pay the piper and get reacquainted with his siblings, whether he likes it or not.

‘Thieves Highway’ (2025)
Thieves Highway is a modern Western starring Aaron Eckhart as an agricultural sheriff, Frank Bennett, whose mandate is to prevent cattle rustling. Even in the 21st century, thieves still find a way to make money by stealing animals from ranchers. What makes this operation different is that Frank and his partner, Bill (Lochlyn Munro), have come across an unusually well-organized cattle ring led by Jones (Devon Sawa).
Frank and Bill soon find themselves severely outgunned and outnumbered. And it’s up to Frank to find a way out of enemy territory when he has no vehicle, limited ammo and no way to call for backup. Frank can’t even trust some of the locals, many of whom seem to be directly loyal to Jones himself.

‘#Skyking: Panic in the Sky’ (2026)
Outside of friends, family and coworkers, few knew who Richard “Beebo” Russell was before August 10, 2018. That was the day Russell stole a commercial airline plane and successfully flew it out of an airport despite having no formal flight training. At the time, there were understandably worries that this might be a prelude to a terrorist attack. It turned out to be the last act of a man who felt he had nothing left to live for.
ABC News’ #Skyking: Panic in the Sky revisits the incident with news footage, interviews and air traffic control audio that includes some of the final conversations that Russell had in his life. The documentary also goes beyond the initial story and explores how Russell posthumously became a folk hero on social media. #Skyking was the hashtag that came with that status, and some even consider him to be the embodiment of “the hopes, dreams and despair of the American working class.” But everyone is free to make their own judgment, especially once this film peels back the curtain on the man behind it.
