tiny yawn – nine lives
Bless be the youtube algorhythm. This is the first time I’ve heard of this band and I absolutely love how simple but colourful their sound is.
OLIVIA – Wish -Reimagined-
OLIVIA IS BACK!!!!!! This is her first release after 14-year-long hiatus. Starting from Wish, a self-cover of her 2006 release, she plans to release new music soon as well. Now can Anna Tsuchiya come back too please?? I need my NANA songstresses collab!

w-inds. – Forever Memories (Re-Recording)
This, too, is a self-cover of their debut single which was released… 25 years ago????? WHAT IS TIME.

CIRRA – Always (from one-way runway / Always EP)
First EP from E-girls 2.0. I think this showcases their vocals better than one-way runway.
eill – Aimai na Yubikiri
A very pretty, emotional ballad song.

Ryokuoushoku Shakai – Riding the Wind (from Riding the Wing – Single)
A theme song for L’étoile de Paris en fleur, which was set in early 20th century European so they mixed some classical instruments in the music too.
Miliyah Kato – Bleeding Striker (from Velvet Grace)
Miliyah’s 13th full length album. Mostly fusion R&B tracks, and there’s a collab song with Sheena Ringo too.

Huwie Ishizaki – Tokyo City Lights (from Tokyo City Lights)
Singer-songwriter’s 6th album. The title track talks about chasing dreams in Tokyo.
JUJU – How Deep Is Your Love (from JUJU’s Showa Era Music Café -Time Travel-)
Yes, this is Bee Gees cover. I know it’s not considered as J-Pop, but it’s my favourite childhood song and I’m biased, so. 🥹

May J. – Rose Pink
Very catchy pop track. Not sure if this song references DOPE LEMON or not (probably not).

Cody・Lee – Sunny (from Gold EP)
The rock band’s final EP before their indefinite hiatus.
MAISONdes – Ash&Ember (feat. LiSA, Nanahoshi Kangengakudan)
Another new “roommate” to MAISONdes’s discography. LiSA is a well known rock singer-songwriter, and Nanahoshi Kangengakudan is a vocaloid producer.
