Everyone is loving Heated Rivalry but can it win Emmys?
No, because it is not an US production. The show is an all Canadian production. HBO Max is just airing it.
Canadian show Schitt’s Creek had an US co-producer which made it eligible
Heated Rivalry is eligible for the International Emmys tho
Katey Rich thinks HBO might try to argue something about the simultaneously airing in the US and Canada but as of now the show is simply not eligible
