David Harbour’s former girlfriend, Alison Sudol, has subtly shown support for Lily Allen’s new album West End Girl — and fans can’t help but notice the timing.
Alison, best known for her music alias A Fine Frenzy and her role in the Fantastic Beasts franchise, dated the Stranger Things actor in 2018. However, their romance fizzled by July 2019, and by August, David was spotted with Lily. The two married just over a year later, making headlines for their whirlwind Vegas wedding.
Fast forward to October 2025, and Lily’s West End Girl has fans dissecting every lyric. The record — which explores themes of infidelity, open relationships and marital collapse — appears to mirror her real-life marriage. Lily told The Times, “There are things that are on the record that I experienced within my marriage, but that’s not to say that it’s all gospel. It is inspired by what went on in the relationship.”
So when Lily announced her album on October 20, Alison popped into the comments section with a few fire emojis — and the internet lit up. The two women also still follow each other on Instagram, which fans also couldn’t help but notice.
Then came the visualizer for Lily’s scathing new song “Pussy Palace,” which includes eyebrow-raising lyrics like, “Duane Reade bag with the handles tied / Sex toys, butt plugs, lube inside / Hundreds of Trojans, you’re so f***ing broken / How’d I get caught up in your double life?” And yes — Alison was spotted in the “likes.”
Another track, “Madeline,” dives even deeper, with Allen singing about discovering her partner’s affair. “I know none of this is your fault / Messaging you feels kind of assaultive,” she croons. “Saw your text, that’s how I found out / Tell me the truth and his motives.”
Allen later clarified that “Madeline” was a fictional composite, saying, “I just feel we are living in really interesting times — in terms of how we define intimacy and monogamy.”
As for David, he’s keeping things low-key. The actor told GQ in April 2025, “I’m protective of the people and the reality of my life. There’s no use in that form of engaging [with rumors] because it’s all based on hysterical hyperbole.”
