- On the latest episode of their New Heights podcast, Jason and Travis Kelce talked about the meaning of the track “Wood.”
- Jason called it a “great, great soundtrack,” then asked Travis how he felt about the song. “It’s a great song,” Travis simply said.
- “Do you feel, what’s the word, cocky?” Jason asked. Travis said he loves “that girl” and would love any song she wrote about him.
- “But that song isn’t about you, it’s about an appendage,” Jason said before rattling off the lyrics that go, “Redwood tree, it ain’t hard to see / His love was the key that opened my thighs.“
- Jason then said that he has more of an “ornamental bush” than a “redwood tree.” Travis laughed.
