The musical adaptation of Frozen is now streaming on Disney+. The proshot was filmed in January 2024 and features the West End cast. Elsa is played by Samantha Barks, who first rose to fame when she placed third on the UK reality show I’d Do Anything, a competition to find cast members for the revival of Oliver. She was then cast as Éponine in the film adaptation of Les Misérables and co-starred on Disney’s Groove High with Jonathan Bailey.
The rest of the cast includes Laura Dawkes as Anna, Jammy Kasongo as Kristoff, Craig Gallivan as Olaf, Oliver Ormson as Hans, and Richard Frame as Duke of Weselton. Olivier and Tony Award winner Michael Grandage directed both the Broadway and West End musical version of Frozen. Tony Award and Olivier winner Rob Ashford choreographed the Broadway and West End shows. The show features songs from the original movie as well as twelve new songs that were written for the musical adaptation.
