Mariah Carey has released the music video for her new single “Type Dangerous“!
The Grammy award-winning singer entered her new music era just a week ago when she debuted the song, and now we have a Joseph Kahn-directed visual.
In the video, MrBeast makes a cameo and Mariah makes a callback to her iconic “I don’t know her” line, by saying “I don’t know him.”

Earlier in the week, Joseph teased, “There will be an earth shattering surprise in the @MariahCarey Type Dangerous video. I’m not kidding. Brace yourself lol,” and “Unguessable, FYI. You’ll just have to watch the video.”
After the video was released, Joseph tweeted, “Mariah has the best sense of humor. Top tier diva wit.”
“Working with my favorite queen @mariahcarey is always such a joy. Type Dangerous video releases tomorrow (sometime),” he added on Instagram with a photo of him and Mariah.
Previously, Joseph has directed Mariah‘s “Boy (I Need You),” “#Beautiful,” and “All I Want for Christmas Is You (Make My Wish Come True Edition)” music videos.
