The first look at “Elle”, a Legally Blonde prequel series about Elle Woods as a teenager in the 1990s, was shared to social media as it’s recently started production. The show will follow her in high school and explore how these formative years shaped her into the young woman she becomes in the Legally Blonde films.
The series will stream on Prime Video and will star Lexi Minetree in the title role with Reese Witherspoon’s company, Hello Sunshine, producing. Creators are Laura Kittrell and Caroline Dries with Kittrell serving as the showrunner. Other cast includes June Diane Raphael and Tom Everett Scott as Elle’s parents.
