Bradley Cooper has a great relationship with ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk and he’s even planning a vacation for them to go on together with their daughter, Lea, 7 – but a source exclusively spills to Life & Style that he tries to keep things “separate” between his ex and his current girlfriend, Gigi Hadid.
“Bradley’s number one priority is Lea, and he feels it’s best for her to be able to still make those family vacation memories,” the source says of his decision to continue their annual getaways together. “Luckily, he and Irina are both on the same page about it, they have a very chill and supportive coparenting vibe.”
“Everyone is so impressed by what they’ve managed to create, it’s not an easy feat,” adds the source. “But Bradley has put in the work to make sure things stay positive between them, he’s proud of their relationship and believes it’s the best for Lea.”
The Guardians of the Galaxy actor, 50, “wants to spend time with Gigi” too, but the source dishes they’ve both been “super busy” with their bustling schedules and “haven’t had a lot of time together.”
“He’s also doing a new movie that he wrote and produced and for the first time ever he’s going to be a camera operator on it,” the source continues. “He’s been immersed in training and is very excited but it’s a big undertaking, he hasn’t had a lot of free time.”
When they do see each other for romantic time, it’s usually at his $6.5 million sprawling Pennsylvania farm in New Hope, the source explains.
“He’s careful not to have his time with Gigi overlap with Irina, not because it’s a problem but just because he likes to keep these things separate,” the source clarifies.
As Life & Style previously reported, Bradley and Irina, 39, started dating in April 2015 and welcomed their only daughter, Lea, in March 2017. While the couple decided to call it quits in June 2019, they have remained friendly coparents since their split.
As for Gigi, 29, she was previously linked to former One Direction member Zayn Malik starting in November 2015 and the pair dated on and off for nearly six years. They welcomed daughter Khai, 4, in September 2020, but broke up for the final time in October 2021. While the model dabbled in other relationships after her split from Zayn, 32, sparking dating rumors with Leonardo DiCaprio and Cole Bennett, she reportedly started seeing Bradley in October 2023.

The happy couple’s daughters have also become friends after their parents started planning “play dates” to get the girls “comfortable with each other,” according to another source.
“There’s an age gap, Bradley’s daughter is older by a few years, but apparently, they get along well,” the second source told Life & Style on February 3.
When it comes to hopes for the future, a third insider dished Gigi would “say yes in a heartbeat” if the Maestro actor ever popped the question.
“There’s a strong feeling among his friends that his attitude toward marriage has started to soften,” added the insider. “Gigi is everything he’s looking for in a life partner, and the last thing he wants is to risk losing her.”
