Lizzo flaunted her 60-pound weight loss by dancing to her unreleased song “I’m Doing Great.” The musician shared the video to her Instagram page, where she was seen dancing and showcasing her curves.
“PLOT TWIST … I’m doin’ great,” Lizzo, 36, captioned the Monday, March 10 Instagram post.
In the clip, the “About Damn Time” singer donned a flirty maroon jumpsuit that had revealing cutouts on the torso and a mesh neckline. Lizzo paired the piece of clothing with a tan, lace bikini top and tiny daisy dukes. The Maryland native performed her best dance moves while jamming to the unreleased single and fans appreciated her new look and tune in the comments section of the post.
“Lizzo been fine but she’s gets finer and finer on this weight loss journey,” one fan wrote, while a second commented, “What song is this I need it with the mesh lil jumper & shorts expeditiously.”
“Wife is looking SUPERB. Yesssss the legs, body, skin, face, hair, and smileeeee are everything chile!!!!” a third person commented.
Lizzo previously stunned fans with her slimmer figure at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty after sharing her health and wellness plans.
In March 2024, Lizzo shared she was striving to lose weight after growing tired of being made fun of for her plus-size figure. Six months later, Life & Style exclusively reported that the “Good As Hell” artist lost 60 pounds.
Fans started to notice Lizzo’s slimmer figure via her Instagram, which quickly fueled critics to accuse her of taking Ozempic to help with her drastic weight-loss transformation.
“When you finally get Ozempic allegations after five months of weight training and calorie deficit,” Lizzo wrote while reacting to the gossip via Instagram on September 20, 2024.
The following month, Lizzo shared that she altered her formerly vegan-based diet during her weight loss journey by incorporating protein into her meals and following the Japanese diet. Despite her strides in progress, Lizzo sometimes struggles with staying away from unhealthy food options due to hate comments she would receive on social media.
“She’s trying to lose weight to save her life and is determined to drop some pounds. She realizes if she doesn’t do this, she could very well wind up dead,” a second insider exclusively told Life & Style in a story published on October 11, 2024. “She doesn’t want to end up with diabetes and other health problems either, that would make life miserable.”
Source No. 2 explained that the Grammy-winning artist will do “good for a while and then she’ll read a negative comment and want a pint of ice cream to soothe her hurt feelings.”
“She could do without all the haters. Losing weight is hard enough without the nasty comments that come her way,” the second source continued. “That said, she has a lot of friends who are rooting for her and that’s helped to take the sting out.”
That said, Lizzo continued to reach health goals while drowning out the negativity about her and revealed that she lost a whopping 16 percent of body fat in January.
“I did it. Today when I stepped on my scale, I reached my weight release goal. I haven’t seen this number since 2014!” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “Let this be a reminder you can do anything you put your mind to. Time for new goals!”
