Harry Styles fans have been anxiously waiting for him to release new music, and it seems that his professional hiatus might be coming to an end soon. Rumors have swirled that Harry is nearing a deal for a 35-show residency at James Dolan’s Las Vegas Sphere, and Life & Style is breaking down everything you need to know.
Harry Styles Is Reportedly In Talks to Do a Las Vegas Residency Tour
The New York Post reported on March 6, 2025, that Harry is in talks to perform at The Sphere. According to the outlet, the “Watermelon Sugar” singer is in final negotiations to perform up to 35 shows at the venue, which could begin as early as the second half of 2025.
“For the Sphere to continue to be on everyone’s radar they need to book some real ‘live’ artists like Styles,” one insider told The Post.
The venue – which opened in September 2023 – previously hosted U2 in 2023 for the band’s 40-show residency, and it seems that the Sphere’s team wants to continue booking big names to perform residencies.
“Almost everything at the Sphere has been geared for the 60-and-over crowd — The Eagles and The Dead, and even U2,” the source continued.
Despite the speculation, neither Harry nor the venue confirmed the residency. “We do not comment on any artists performing at Sphere except for those who have been announced,” a Sphere spokeswoman told The Post.
Additionally, it appears that Harry is only in the process of booking the residency shows and not specifically a new tour.
Harry Styles Has Worked With James Dolan on a Past Residency
Harry is no stranger to performing residencies, and he previously performed 15 sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City in 2022, which is also owned by Dolan.
During the final night of the Love on Tour New York City residency in September 2022, the “As It Was” singer was surprised with a banner marking the milestone of him performing for 15 consecutive nights that now hangs from the rafters.
“We have a surprise for you, Harry!” Gayle King said onstage while presenting Harry with the honor. “We’re all at Harry’s House right now. Fifteenth consecutive night, sold out show. No artist has ever done that before. Twenty-thousand people, Harry, on their feet. We think you are walking joy, walking happiness … and we just want to say to you Harry, we don’t want to say goodnight to you, Harry Styles!”
Harry Styles Has Kept a Low-Profile in Recent Years
After Harry concluded his Love On Tour on July 22, 2023, at the RCF Arena in Reggio Emilia, Italy, he chose to stay out of the spotlight amid his professional hiatus.
“Harry’s been doing his own thing, roaming around London and Rome, taking in soccer matches, golf tournaments and fashion shows,” an insider exclusively told Life & Style in February 2025 about how he was spending his time off. “He’s also been working on a collab with his lifestyle brand, Pleasing, and J.W. Anderson [that] he’s really excited about.”
The source added, “Word is he’s been working on new music, too. Music will always be Harry’s first love.”
