Lin-Manuel Miranda and Eisa Davis’ upcoming concept album based on the 1979 cult classic action film The Warriors has had its cast list released, as part of its being made available for preorder. In what will presumably attract ire from certain grifting corners of the internet, the titular gang has become all-female (including two of Miranda’s Hamilton co-stars and singer Lauryn Hill).
In an interview today, Miranda indicated that it’s as yet undecided whether this will become a full Broadway production.
