Aisha Tyler is looking back on working with Connor Storrie on Criminal Minds: Evolution!
The 55-year-old actress stars as Dr. Tara Lewis on the Paramount+ series, and worked with the Heated Rivalry star on an upcoming episode in season 19.
During a new podcast interview, Aisha gushed about Connor, recalling how good he was and knowing from that one experience that he was “going to go places.”

“The people on the show that I’m obsessed with right now, Heated Rivalry. I don’t think they knew that it was going to be what it’s been, but I love them,” she said on the Radio Cherry Bombe podcast. “And we announced it now that Connor Storrie is going to be on this season of Criminal Minds. And he’s so great, he’s so great! I love him so much.”
“You know, we shot it before Heated Rivalry came out. This is actually the first time I’m telling this story, so I’m really happy about it. We have a scene with him and he’s so lovely,” Aisha continued. “I turned to Paget Brewster and I’m like, ‘This kid is really good. Like, he’s going to do well, he’s going to go places.’ We just had this sidebar about him, like, ‘He’s really talented, I want good things for this guy.’ And cut to: he’s the most famous human being on the planet! He’s carrying the Olympic torch!”
Connor‘s upcoming appearance on an episode of Criminal Minds: Evolution was confirmed by another actress who will be in the episode, Yvette Nicole Brown. Later, Paramount+ officially confirmed he will be making an appearance.
A date for Connor‘s episode has yet to be revealed, though the series will premiere on May 28th. Stay tuned as we learn more!
