– According to Reuters, Dior paid a supplier $57 per bag, retailing for about $2,800, while Giorgio Armani paid $99 per bag, sold for over $1,900.
– LVMH was put under court administration in Milan last month for allegedly subcontracting work to Chinese-owned firms that mistreated its workers.
– Workers were sleeping in the factories so that they could have “manpower available 24 hours a day.”
– Meanwhile, Giorgio Armani was accused of not properly overseeing its suppliers.
